I went by my local Hallmark store tonight hoping to spend more than 1 of my $5 coupons (otherwise it would have meant a trip to the mall for one measley $5 coupon and while I appreciate any savings amount, I like to get a really good deal). Anyway, they have lots of little things you can pick up for around $5 and I came upon the sports memoribilia section that included the Boston Red Sox. My husband is a HUGE fan. I was actually surprised that they had quite a few items that were $3.99, $5.99 and $6.99. I picked out the following items and split them into 3 transactions. The cashier had no problem letting me do three separate transactions and use a coupon on each.
Welcome to Frugal Mama! I hope to make this blog a place that a variety of different people will be drawn to, and a place to share my frugality and creativity. My name is Jamie and I'm a self-described "Savings Specialist." I love to coupon, find deals, recycle and save money. I'm also super crafty and enjoy scrapbooking, quilting, sewing, knitting (with a loom) along with tons of other projects, many of which you'll find pictures of here eventually. I hope you enjoy reading my posts and please feel free to ask any questions. I'm always willing to help if I can.
I'm a 31-year old mother to three children and wife to wonderful husband, Adam. I am a teacher by trade, but currently spend my time editing reports and scheduling mystery shops! I am an avid crafter (see Vacationland Quilts on Facebook) and I'm always looking for something new to make, create and redesign!
